Recently, fans on social media have widely circulated images of staff carrying an individual away from SEVENTEEN’s ticket exchange event. Reports claim that a car allegedly struck the person while they attempted to line up for their turn to exchange tickets.

Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the injured individual was removed from the queue and carried away by medical staff. The sight left the crowd in shock. Many were visibly distressed as they witnessed an accident unfold right before them.

SEVENTEEN is currently on their “17 Is Right Here” tour, performing in various Southeast Asian countries. The incident occurred at the ticket exchange venue for SEVENTEEN’s concert in Jakarta, Indonesia. Given SEVENTEEN’s immense popularity in the region, the sheer number of fans lining up was overwhelming. Queues stretched from inside the venue to far outside the building.

Many attendees expressed frustration over the event’s organization. They criticized the local concert organizers for poor crowd management and for failing to secure a venue large enough to accommodate the demand. One fan commented, “They did not properly serve ticket buyers. There was no assurance of safety or comfort during the ticket exchange process.”

This is not the first time safety concerns have arisen at events featuring artists under HYBE. Previously, a fan attending a BOYNEXTDOOR event experienced health issues after standing in line for merchandise in freezing temperatures, prompting emergency responders to transport them in an ambulance. In response, K-pop fans have taken to Twitter. They are trending hashtags calling for concert organizers, entertainment agencies, and show promoters to prioritize proper event planning, staff deployment, and safety measures.
As these gatherings continue to grow in scale, proper safety measures and crowd management are essential to prevent accidents and ensure a smooth experience for fans.
